I really need to stop taking 6 week breaks from writing. I’m sorry my friends! We’ve been super busy moving, getting settled, enjoying summer’s end, etc, etc. Though we have also been very busy with new projects around our apartment. Thought I’d share this quick and easy way to pretend you have an office.
Our new place doesn’t have an office space the way our last did. So we’ve created a small space in the living room for a desk so that we can get some work done. Due to the fact that it’s right IN the living room I really didn’t want the desk to become cluttered with office supplies. The desk just so happens to be right next to the closet so we crafted up this simple project.
Using three wire mesh CD storage bins and a few small hooks we made ourselves a closet door office.
Because they’re wire mesh baskets it was easy to hang them from the gold hooks.
We can now easily open the door and have all the office type supplies we need without the clutter of having them on the desk.
