I love vinegar. White, distilled vinegar that is. I use it to clean pretty much everything. I use it as laundry softener, I use it to clean the Keurig. I use it as a rinse aid in my dishwasher. You haven’t even read this whole post yet…are you already shocked that you can use it for so many things?
Al used to not think that vinegar was an effective cleaning agent. I think he thought it was another one of my crazy things I do. I have a lot of them. But, then I showed him this, which I cut out from a magazine. Though I can’t quite remember which magazine…
That’s right, it effectively fights various types of bacteria! Not only that, there are a ton of additional uses for it too. You can find the whole list right here, but just to name a few:
- The toilet: pour a cup in, let sit over night and scrub in the morning.
- Ant prevention: spray wherever you see a trail of ants. This really works, I’m a maniac with the vinegar on those guys.
- Garbage disposal: make vinegar ice cubes, run them through with cold water running.
- Grills: spray on a ball of tin foil and scrub the grates.
Who knew?! Maybe you did, but I sure as heck can’t wait to add all 25 of these things to my already running list of vinegar uses!
